Job Description

• This position is for Fall Semester 2018-the position will be reposted in future fall and spring semesters, pending anticipated openings. For full consideration, please apply by January 20th.
• Facilitate workshops during fall and spring semesters for the campus community from the 21st Century Leadership Series, Professional Leadership Series, Foundations
• Facilitate mock interviews for students and alumni in the CLDC
• Attend mandatory weekly hour long professional development meetings
• Attend mandatory weekly thirty minute meetings with supervisor
• Participate in training prior to each semester, in addition to ongoing training through staff meetings and one on one supervision meetings
• Assist with all major events hosted by the CLDC
• Frequent evenings and some weekends required
• Fulfill duties of assigned special project

Minimum Qualifications

• Flexibility to work a maximum of 10 hours per week while classes are in session, including finals week (supervision and all meetings are included in the 10 hours of work time)
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75/4.0 or higher
• Ability to display professionalism when working with the campus community and fellow CLDC employees
• Comfort with public speaking and facilitating to medium-large groups of people
• Desire to help peers maximize their potential through career and leadership development
• Ability to work in a team
• Effective time management skills and ability to be reliable and on time for scheduled shifts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to take initiative

• Previous engagement with the CLDC through participation in any of the following services/resources:

• Leadership Coaching
• Mock Interview
• 21st Century Leadership Series
• Professional Leadership Series
• Foundations
• Pepsi Scholars
• Career Events (career fairs, networking events, etc.)
