Ohio University Southern is looking to fill TWO adjunct (part-time) positions to teach community education courses in Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) at the Ohio Horse Park. Job Description

THIS IS A PART-TIME TERM, NON-BENEFITS ELIGIBLE TEACHING POSITION.

This is a Group III position as the individual is contracted on an as needed bases. The Instructor would be responsible for:
• Assessment of applications.
• Assessment of participants.
• Completion of a pre-written lesson plan form.
• Development of activities appropriate for the participants.
• Implementation of the lesson.
• Completion of evaluation rubric for each participant.
• Responsible for groups of 4 to 15 participants.
• Sessions are co-facilitated.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or considerable experience in social work, human service technology, psychology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in an equine assisted learning environment.
