Announcement Details

Pool Title Instructor, English Department
Position Summary

Applications to this pool will be considered to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions as student demand dictates at the Athens campus and at regional campuses. The number of courses in English offered each semester is largely dependent on student demand. Therefore, the need to hire part-time instructors often comes with very little notice. Such part-time positions will be filled with qualified applicants from this pool.

Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis.

The instructor position will usually consist of teaching freshman and/or junior composition. On rare occasions, there may be a need for a non-general education writing course or introductory literature course.
