Position Summary

POOL POSTING: Physics and Astronomy Instructors

Applications to this pool will be utilized to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions as student demand dictates at the Athens campus and at our regional campuses for traditional classroom courses. The number of courses in Physics and Astronomy offered each semester is largely dependent on full-time faculty leave of absences and student demand. Therefore, we often have the need for part-time instructors with very short notice. Such part-time positions will be filled utilizing qualified applicants from this pool.

Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis.

This instructor position will consist of teaching introductory courses related to Physical Science, Astronomy and Physics. Please see for details on our program.
